Virtual Server Environments

StatMap’s spatial platform is designed to be run equally well on either virtualised server environments or on specific physical server machines.  Therefore, you will be able to provide your enterprise application services via the most cost-effective and scalable server environments – to suit your growing organisational requirements – as determined by your organisation.

The Unlimited Site Licence (USL) means that you can scale up your servers as much as you wish, without incurring any extra costs.  As a result, unlimited CPU cores and memory can be applied at your leisure.

We never seek to penalise our clients for seeking to exploit our software to its limitless potential.

Minimum Server Specifications

Minimal server specifications (valid for virtual or physical environments) apply for hosting StatMap’s eVO Platform applications, and these can be summarised as follows:

Application Server


  • CPU: 2-cores
  • RAM: 4 GB+
  • HDD: 50 GB+


  • OS: Windows Server 2008R2, or newer (e.g. 2012, 2016)
  • Libraries: .NET Framework 4.5.1 installed.

Database Server


  • CPU: 2-cores
  • RAM: 4GB+
  • HDD: 50GB+


  • OS: 64-bit Windows 2003 or newer

One of OGC-compliant databases:

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or newer
  • PostgreSQL with PostGIS
  • Oracle 10g or newer

Note: this Spatial Data Repository database is the central enterprise spatial database for all of your eVO Platform applications
